Team—

I understand you all just finished your town hall - I trust you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the good news. Previously I shared you all a message, I stated the following: “I am confident in this group. You all are some of the most driven and talented developers we have had the chance to work with - and we’re eager for that collaboration to persist.”

Through your commitment and adaptability, particularly over the past twelve months, you repeatedly show that.

The community feedback from last autumn’s the game playtest was revealing. It confirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had refinements needed. It highlighted the need for a sharper identity.

The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve advanced. You accepted the criticism to consideration and overhauled Project ETHOS with a revitalized direction - one that’s ready to fulfill its promise to our fans.

The belief in Project ETHOS strengthens every day. To boost the incredible advancement you’ve made, I am thrilled to announce Ben Brinkman as the new Director of the team. After a period of conversations, Ben comes aboard us on the specified date.

Ben’s management and experience in the PVP shooter field is vast, having dedicated the recent years producing and leading some of the most popular series in the industry, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more recently, Apex Legends.
